Spring flowers make me happy

Today’s post is all about Spring flowers. Their eye candy blooms and sweet scents are so welcome after the long winter. But it’s not just flowers. The trees are also doing their thing. At this time of year, I’m all agog over the green flush of the Olive tree and the Weeping Willow’s pale chartreuse. Flowering Pears, Crab Apple trees, and Flowering Cherry trees are blossoming. And who could possibly overlook the beautiful blooming Magnolia?

Season of bloom

The scent and sights of Spring are all around us, from lovely Daffodils to sweet Hyacinth and pretty Tulips. Spring bulbs and early spring annuals are popping up everywhere. I’m watching garden centers stock up for eager gardeners (oh, the anticipation!) In my own garden, Bearded Iris will be blooming soon, as well as my beloved Peonies and beautiful Daisies. I am in love with flowers and Spring is the time to indulge, so today’s post and free printable is simply to celebrate this season of bloom.

There are so many quotes about spring flowers that obviously I’m not alone in my love for nature’s jewelry. I love Monet’s quote, “I must have flowers, always and always.” I’ll second and third that. But when I first read the quote I chose for this printable, in my head I shouted (irrationally), “YES!” Now you know my scientific process for choosing this particular quote. Ha! Sometimes, you just need flowers.
