September is here and that means a new free printable!

Oh, my Goodness! Did September sneak up on you like it did for me? One minute it was July and fireworks, and the next, the lazy days of August have zipped by, school zone lights are blinking everywhere and the sun is headed back south!

September is a Great Month

The first weeks of September really aren’t the end of summer. Yes, the days are growing gradually shorter, the nights are getting cooler, but until the third week of the month, I say Summer-On! 🙂

Golden Autumn is Just Around the Corner

But there is that slight yearning, isn’t there? That anticipation of the glowing autumn light and the abundance of harvest time. And hello? What’s not to love about Pumpkin-everything season?! The last holiday of the Summer, Labor Day, is here, then Harvest celebrations and everything that comes with it starts to fill our days as warmer clothes come out of storage.

It’s easy to rush through all the tasks that seem to stretch endlessly this time of year, but I think it’s important to take a moment and enjoy the late summer sunshine; just be grateful and present, here and now.

September Art is Beautiful

I always love Autumn artwork. Of course, there are always pumpkins and autumn leaves (insert shameless plug here for my upcoming Autumn printable), but for my September printable I wanted something that spoke to the golden September sunshine. And what better symbol of a golden sun than a pretty Sunflower?
