November is Here ~ Free Printable and a Bonus!
November comes and November goes,
With the last red berries and the first white snows.

November is Here
Wow! November already! The autumn months fly by much too fast, don’t they? Halloween screamed by (if you didn’t get my printable, you can download here and use it next year 🙂 ), and it feels as if November becomes a rush of preparation for Thanksgiving which gets run over by Christmas. Whew! Let’s take a breath, shall we?
Let’s Enjoy Autumn While We Can
November still has it’s share of sunny days and turning leaves. It’s as if you can feel the Earth going to sleep, but there’s still time for those quiet walks, and time to gather round as we build a fire and enjoy the warmth. I hope you have at least a week or so before the Holiday preparations take over.
November is a Month of Gratitude
I always think of November as the season of gratitude. And while the U.S. celebrates its official Thanksgiving holiday on the fourth Thursday of November, Canada celebrates Thanksgiving on the second Monday of the month. Other countries also celebrate similar holidays in November, including Germany, Japan and the Caribbean islands, according to Wikipedia. No matter what day it’s celebrated, this season of thanksgiving is an opportunity to take a moment and be grateful for what we have. Gratitude is never wasted.
