Say Hello Winter with a pretty new printable!
Hello Winter!
Hello to the Winter Solstice and Hello to Winter! While this particular season isn’t in my top 3 favorites, it is special and deserves a little love. I’ve written before about my ‘Top 10 Favorite Things About Winter’ in another post. You can check it out here, then let me know if I missed your favorite thing about winter!
Hello to Winter Festivities
The biggest celebrations are in winter (in the northern hemisphere, anyway). So, without winter you don’t get the parties. And who doesn’t love a party? From Holiday and Christmas parties to New Year’s celebrations, there are lots of activities to speed us through the dark winter months.
Hello to Winter Activities
Whether you’re an outdoor athlete or a hibernator (guilty), winter is a special time. From creating snow angels to building snowmen, snowmobiling or snowshoeing, to skiing or snowboarding, there are so many winter activities and things to do. If you’re the hibernator type, then winter is the time for a cozy fireplace, a good book and a warm beverage, or a simmering pot of soup or stew. No matter what you decide to do, there are lots of way to enjoy this special time of year.

November 24, 2021 at 11:30 amHi Karen,
Love the cute printable sign.. I tried printing it as a welcome to families at my daycare, but the area around the snowman came out black. Is there a way to print it so this doesn’t happen?
Thanks Kim

November 26, 2021 at 5:18 pmHi Kim, so glad you enjoy the printable! There are two things you can do to make sure you can print without any issues. First, make sure you have the most up to date Adobe Reader software. You can download a compatible version for your computer here. Next, you’ll want to make sure to ‘print as image’ in your print dialog box. You can find that by clicking the ‘Advanced’ button next to your printer tab in your print dialog box. then clicking the ‘print as image’ box. I hope this helps! Thank you for your interest, Karen
