Let’s celebrate the month of March with a pretty free printable!
“March is a green, muddy month down below. Some folks like it. Farmers mostly.”
~ Bear Claw Chris Lapp / Jeremiah Johnson
March is a transition month
The above quote is a favorite around my house this time of year, mostly because we’re big fans of the movie Jeremiah Johnson. But also because it’s accurate. To me, March is a transition month. Winter isn’t yet over (please, people, whennn??!!) and Spring is so close you ache for it. The ground is gray. The sky is gray. Even the snow is gray. But I know the weather will break and milder days are on the way. As much as March may start in a winter way, this is the month when Spring does indeed arrive.
While I wait, I plan my garden, feast my eyes on flowers and greenery artwork, look forward to the green clover of St. Patrick’s Day, and wait as patiently as I can.
Celebrate March
To celebrate the month that turns to Spring, here’s a little printable. I love this pretty artwork. It hints at the upcoming holiday and reminds me that under that snow and mud, new growth is coming. Also, if you’re an Instagram fan, I’ve added one on Instagram, especially sized to add to your feed for March (please tag me, I’d love to see!) I hope you enjoy!
