Mother’s Day

Mother’s Day is here. As a mother myself, and the child of an amazing mom, it’s a special holiday for me. I’ve done other printables for Mom, including a fun Mother’s Day bunting (that pairs with my colorful Spring bunting), a pretty Best Mom printable award, a Happy Mother’s Day printable, and a sentimental Love You Mom greeting card.

I mulled over what I could do this year for all the mommas out there, and thought that it would be fun to do a Sassy printable, just for mom.

Being a mom

Being a mom is hard work. Never-ending, 28 hours a day work. Yes, it’s rewarding. Yes, it has all the feels. And yes, I really do think being a good parent is the most important job a person can do. But, there are those moments. You know the ones. You’ve answered all the questions, reasoned and rationalized, bargained and negotiated. There’s been enough discussion and it just needs to happen. At that moment, you pull the Mom card. That’s when you say, ‘Because I said so!’ And that, as they say, is that.
